This sturdy, durable office chair was made by the Philadelphia Sikes Chair Company. It is a rare Sikes chair because the Sikes family operated it's Philadelphia factory for only about 16 years. The factory moved from Buffalo, NY around the turn of the 20th Century, and was relocated back to Buffalo in 1916. This chair is 35" tall at the back and has been fully restored and re-glued, new rubber casters, and the swivel mechanism has been re-conditioned and has adjustable swivel and tilt functions. It is comfortable and functional and will easily last another 100 years!
